Advance Local is seeking a proven Director of Sales, Healthcare to lead and scale a high-performing sales organization within the healthcare category. This role involves setting the sales vision, driving strategic growth, and ensuring excellence across the healthcare sales lifecycle, leveraging expertise in healthcare marketing and digital advertising.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed revenue targets by leading high-performing teams with rigor, holding teams accountable to performance metrics, pursuing top prospects with discipline and aligning client needs to their KPIs to ensure competitive success
- Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to healthcare clients, leveraging proprietary and third-party digital offerings including display, video, email, social, search, SEO, OTT/CTV, DOOH and sponsorships
- Coach and build a high-performing sales team with healthcare-specific knowledge. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous learning to achieve common objectives
- Drive adoption of data-driven solutions, including audience segmentation, data integration and predictive analytics to help healthcare clients optimize outreach and ROI
- Champion the use of AI tools to enhance campaign personalization, sales enablement and forecasting. Identify opportunities that accelerate growth in the healthcare vertical
- Ensure top-tier client results through consultative selling, strategic planning, and cross-functional alignment with marketing, operations and data teams
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field
- Minimum ten years' proven successful sales experience, with at least five years' sales leadership experience in building and coaching sales teams
- Consistent, proven history of exceeding sales goals and driving profitable revenue growth
- Ability to lead, inspire and motivate a diverse sales team
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills
- Proven analytical skills to analyze and interpret sales data to inform strategic decisions and drive data-driven solutions
- High proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and sales tracking and performance software
- Five or more years of healthcare sales experience preferred, or equivalent expertise in digital marketing
