New England Recruiting Report is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to help grow one of the most influential grassroots basketball media platforms in the Northeast. The role involves assisting with social media content creation and management, while providing an opportunity for students to build their portfolios and gain real-world experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the creation and scheduling of social media content
- Develop creative ideas for posts, graphics, reels, and stories
- Help maintain a consistent day-to-day posting schedule
- Monitor engagement and interact with our audience
- Contribute ideas to help grow our platforms and increase reach
- Collaborate with our team on event coverage, player features, and promotional campaigns
Skills
- Strong interest in social media, sports media, marketing, or communications
- Creative mindset with an eye for engaging content
- Consistent, dependable, and self-motivated
- Familiarity with Instagram, X, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Basic graphic design or video editing experience is a plus, but not required
- Passion for basketball
