Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Clockout is the fastest growing networking platform focused on IRL connection, having crossed 500,000 downloads and $1M+ in annual recurring revenue within 10 months. They are seeking a Head of Growth Marketing to own user acquisition, product positioning, and growth campaigns across various channels, working closely with the CEO to scale their growth engine.
Responsibilities
- Own Clockout’s product marketing, growth, and acquisition strategy across paid, organic, UGC, creator, and referral channels
- Build and scale repeatable acquisition systems that drive high-quality downloads, activated users, and paid subscriptions
- Lead paid social strategy across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and other relevant consumer channels
- Develop and test high-converting UGC, creator, meme page, and performance ad concepts
- Own campaign strategy for city launches, school-based campaigns, viral hooks, cultural moments, and community-driven growth
- Work directly with the CEO on positioning, messaging, creative direction, funnel optimization, and monetization strategy
- Improve conversion across the full funnel, including ad creative, app store pages, onboarding, paywall messaging, referrals, and activation loops
- Build relationships with creators, UGC talent, meme pages, agencies, and marketing partners
- Analyze growth performance across CAC, ROAS, paid conversion, retention, payback period, and revenue generated
- Create a testing culture around hooks, creative formats, landing experiences, onboarding flows, pricing, and lifecycle messaging
- Help turn Clockout from an early traction product into a mainstream consumer brand
Skills
- Prior 0→1 or 1→10 experience scaling a consumer mobile, social, marketplace, dating, community, events, creator, or networking product
- Experience helping grow a consumer app to millions of users and/or $1M+ in revenue. Experience scaling to $5M+ in revenue is a major plus
- Deep experience with UGC, paid social, creator marketing, influencer partnerships, meme pages, and performance creative
- Strong understanding of consumer acquisition, funnel optimization, paid conversion, retention, and monetization
- Ability to develop sharp positioning, viral hooks, ad concepts, and culturally relevant campaign angles
- Strong analytical ability across CAC, ROAS, payback, LTV, conversion rates, cohort behavior, and revenue attribution
- Experience running fast creative testing cycles across paid and organic channels
- Strong product instincts and understanding of onboarding, activation, social loops, referrals, network effects, and subscription conversion
- Ability to manage creators, agencies, freelancers, and marketing partners while still being hands-on
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving, ambitious early-stage startup where speed, creativity, and ownership matter
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect marketing decisions to product, growth, and revenue impact
- Experience at a high-growth consumer app, especially in social, dating, marketplace, events, community, creator, or mobile subscription products
- Experience scaling a product from early traction to millions of users
- Experience managing paid acquisition budgets with strong ROAS discipline
- Experience creating or managing UGC-style ads that drove measurable conversion
- Experience with meme page marketing, influencer seeding, campus/city launches, or creator-led acquisition
- Experience improving subscription conversion, trial starts, paywall performance, and lifecycle marketing
- Founder, early employee, Head of Growth, Growth Lead, Product Marketing Lead, or performance marketing leader experience at a startup that reached meaningful consumer scale is a major plus
