About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Customer Service Representative who thrives in a remote environment and is passionate about delivering compassionate, accurate, and timely support to our members. This position is fully remote, serving customers from 40 preferred residency states (excluding AK, CA, HI, and locations outside the United States). Residents of Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington, and Washington, D.C. will be considered based on special business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Advocacy: Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to members seeking information about health‑plan eligibility, enrollment status, and benefit details.
- Product Knowledge & Upselling: Leverage deep understanding of careerzynith health‑plan offerings to recommend upgrades or additional services that enhance member wellbeing.
- Research & Outreach: Conduct outbound calls and perform research to resolve complex inquiries, ensuring each interaction ends with a clear solution.
- Digital Guidance: Help members log into their online health accounts, navigate portal features, and locate doctors or facilities using arenaxflex’s digital tools.
- Compliance & Privacy: Strictly adhere to HIPAA regulations, safeguarding all personal health information with the same care you would expect for your own data.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team leads, quality assurance specialists, and cross‑functional partners to continuously improve processes and member satisfaction.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in webcam‑enabled training, coaching sessions, and a library of thousands of free courses to sharpen your expertise and advance your career.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a health‑care or insurance environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
- Demonstrated integrity and ability to follow HIPAA guidelines for patient privacy.
- Proficient computer skills with a reliable high‑speed internet connection (≥ 15 Mbps).
- Access to a USB‑wired headset (Bluetooth headsets are not permitted) and a smartphone or tablet (iOS or Android) for daily log‑ins.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with health‑plan enrollment systems, member portals, or similar digital platforms.
- Previous remote work experience, showcasing self‑discipline and effective time management.
