The role involves building the testing foundation for Point of Sale implementation projects, collaborating with a technical team, and ensuring quality through documentation and testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual QA testing for POS implementation projects
- Review requirements and develop detailed test cases
- Document testing steps, findings, and execution results
- Support functional testing across new system configurations
- Help establish QA processes and documentation from scratch
- Identify issues and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
- Work closely with technical and business teams
Skills
- 3-5+ years of QA or testing experience
- Strong manual testing background
- Experience writing thorough test cases
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Experience testing restaurant or retail systems
- Ability to work independently in a new QA environment
- Comfort turning requirements into test scenarios
- Experience with Toast Point of Sale
- Experience with CrunchTime
- Background supporting Point of Sale implementations
- Experience building QA processes from the ground up
