Astro Pak is the nation's leading precision cleaning and passivation contractor specializing in on-site cleaning of high purity gas and fluid systems. They are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Manager to lead business development and revenue growth for their Cleanroom Services division within the Semiconductor & Microelectronics markets, focusing on identifying and developing new business opportunities while maintaining strategic customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within Semiconductor & Microelectronics markets
- Generate and maintain a robust pipeline through market research, networking, industry engagement, and lead follow-up
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service solutions that align with customer requirements and Astro Pak capabilities
- Meet or exceed revenue, margin, and growth objectives
- Expand existing customer relationships by increasing program participation and wallet share
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across customer organizations
- Serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers solve complex contamination control, precision cleaning, cleanroom, and ultra-high purity system challenges
- Develop communication pathways that position Astro Pak within current and emerging customer programs
- Ensure exceptional customer experiences through proactive engagement and responsiveness
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Semiconductor & Microelectronics markets, industry trends, manufacturing processes, and customer requirements
- Build Astro Pak's presence through participation in trade shows, conferences, professional organizations, and industry networking events
- Identify emerging technologies, market developments, and opportunities that support business growth
- Partner closely with Inside Sales, Estimating, Customer Service, and Operations teams to advance opportunities and ensure successful project execution
- Act as the primary commercial liaison between customers and internal stakeholders
- Support strategic initiatives and organizational priorities as business needs evolve
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technical Studies, or a related field
- Minimum of 6-10 years of successful quota-carrying sales and business development experience
- Demonstrated experience selling into Semiconductor and/or Microelectronics markets
- Proven track record of generating new business and growing strategic customer accounts
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex service solutions
- Experience using CRM systems; Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred
- Valid Class C driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to comply with U.S. Export Control regulations and federally mandated requirements
- Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong consultative selling and relationship management abilities
