Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Child Life Specialist.

In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for providing child life services for designated areas in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and under the general guidance of designated Supervisor or Director. The Sr Child Life Specialist possesses advanced clinical skills and serves as a role model for peers and other staff, formally precepting new department staff, providing departmental and interdisciplinary education, and coordinating clinical/program development activities.

Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Masters degree in Child Life, Early Childhood Education or a closely related field. CCLS certification by the Child Life Certifying Committee and at least 35 years of relevant child life clinical experience..

Required Licenses: Child Life Specialist Cert

Preferred Qualifications:
Clinical leadership and intern supervision experience.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $55,595.28 - $85,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
