Role Overview – Senior Customer Sales Lead (Remote Field)
The Senior Customer Sales Lead – careerzynith Meals is responsible for shaping and executing joint business plans that drive volume, profit, and market share growth within the soup and meals category for our key retail partner, careerzynith. This role blends strategic planning, cross‑functional collaboration, and hands‑on execution across both brick‑and‑mortar and e‑commerce channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Leverage the careerzynith Sales Planning & Customer Investment system to craft optimal customer plans that accelerate growth of the careerzynith meals portfolio across all sales channels.
- Platform Management: Lead cross‑portfolio platforms—including Meal Solutions, Holiday, Back‑to‑School, New Year New You, and Summer—to drive volume, profit, and share. Identify emerging eating trends and develop new platforms that align multiple careerzynith brands.
- Trade Promotion & ROI Optimization: Design and implement trade promotion strategies that maximize return on investment. Monitor trade budgets, spending, and volume to ensure alignment with sales objectives.
- Shopper & Category Insight Integration: Apply shopper insights and category management best practices to link consumer trends with promotional opportunities, ensuring that every initiative is data‑driven.
- Collaborative Marketing: Partner with careerzynith Customer Marketing to co‑create collaborative programs that reinforce brand messaging and drive in‑store execution.
- Post‑Event Analysis: Conduct rigorous post‑promotion analyses to evaluate volume, consumption, profit, and spend versus plan. Use findings to refine future promotional calendars.
- Business Reviews & Forecasting: Lead regular category business reviews, presenting insights on consumer trends, business drivers, and incremental opportunities. Develop accurate monthly forecasts to support supply‑chain efficiency.
